What are dApps
dApps are Decentralized internet applications that run on Peer to Peer blockchain networks. And it utilizes smart contracts to make the dapps work. This means that actions in dApps can cost the specific cryptocurrency of the network its run on, or just a small gas fee and a wallet of the specific blockchain is needed to login.
Some dApps have created their own tokens on the specific blockchain network, and whole active markets have been created. Like collection games with the charm of pokemon where all creatures are bound to the blockchain and therefore unique, these creatures can be sold or flipped on the ingame market and do tasks where you earn other things and items with.
Furthere on there are a lot of Gambling dApps which mainly are a waste of time and crypto, but Ill put down some below for those who like that kinda stuff, sometimes its just fun to gamble a bit with funds you can loose anyway.
Also a lot of decentralized exchanges have popped up on dApp networks which is great for trading, since your funds cannot be seized by the exchange as it is all done with smart contracts from your private wallet. Sometimes some offbrand coin you might be interested in will be available here way earlier than your favorite centralized exchange.
The dApp industry is very new for now and it might actually be a good investment of time (and possible crypto’s) for the future for when crypto and dapps get massive adoption. All the dApps that have active markets and are atleast a bit populair would probably rise in value.
On my site I will be informing you on the best dApps of all categories. Mostly on ones where you can startup with minimum costs and the goal to earn more. Which is already very possible with a lot of game dApps.
There are many different blockchain networks that have dApps now, but Ill be focussing on the most promissing ones that Im atleast a little sure about it won’t dissapear in a few years.
My favorite dApp platform by far is Tron, it has low fees due to its bandwitdh and energy system. And the deligated proof of stake is a nice addition to earn more tokens. Then there is Ethereum.
Ethereum was the first generation blockchain utilizing smart contracts and is therefore one of the most populair but In my oppinion with the fees possible to rise high and sometimes low transaction time can be somewhat annoying, it still works very well.
For every dApp you need to sign in with a private wallet to make transactions or sign smart contracts, here is an overview and guide to the ones I use.
